I didn’t expect it at all because there are so many amazing professionals in this Japanese competition. JIA Illustration Award is an annual competition organized by Japan Illustrators’ Association (JIA), the most popular organization of professional illustrators in Japan.

It’s my big drawing “There is a castle on a cloud” that won the Bronze Award, from 277 artists and 579 works. It’s one of my favorite works so I’m really really encouraged.
